Instructions on how to use your account at the SOLiD™ Software Development Community

• Create an account.  You must register to download software. Click here to register.
• Once you register you can login at at SOLiDSoftwareTools.COM.  Click on the "login" link at the top right corner of the page.
• Once you login you will have 7 tabs to navidate the site and described below:
  • My Stuff: The "My Stuff" tab will allow you access to you personal space.  It will contain a navigation bar on the left that will allow you to customize you account.  Here you can monitor software releases, documentation updates, forums etc.  Here you can also access you development projects.
    
  • Home: The "Home" tab will take you to the homepage for the SOLiD™ Software Development Community. All of the software released by Applied Biosystems will be available by links on this homepage.  In addition, any data set releases will also be accessible from this homepage.
    
  • Users: The "Users" tab is currently not enabled
  • Search: The "Search" tab allows you to seach the documents, files, software, wikis and forums enabled on the site
  • Projects: The "Projects" tab will display all public projects that have beed registered at SOLiDsoftwareTools.COM.  This will include Applied Biosystems tools as well as tools created by the community.
  • Snippets: The "Snippets" Tab will allow you to see what small pieces of code have been registered but are not official projects.
